Champagne is one of our very best full Peruvian suris. Her sire is the famous mahogony suri Peruvian Meteor. Champagne is a full sibling (same dam, same sire) to Senor Peruvian Protocol who was Color Champion at International Alpaca Odyssey 2003. Champagne is a half sister (on sire's side) to Cantano, worlds highest selling auctioned alpaca at $265,000. On her dam's side, Champagne is half sister to the famous stud Cool Fire (Champagne was one of the two daughters Cool Fire's dam produced).
Champagne has the genes to produce great things and she has . . . all of her cria have been outstanding. Her male cria Brut sold prior to weaning! Her cria Sparkle placed at Alpaca Western Extravaganza, a Level Five show, and sold as a weanling. She went on to place 2nd at Alpaca Mania '06, 2nd at Monterey Pronk '06, and 3rd at Alpaca Fest West '06 competing shorn!
Champagne has a mellow, friendly small-farm personality and her crias seem to develop similar personalities. She is also an excellent mother.
